“We do not feel sorry for those who support the war with Ukraine.” GSC Game World completely refused to sell S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 in Russia

On the morning of March 14, the Ukrainian studio GSC Game World changed the name of its future game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 from Heart of ChOrnobyl to the correct Heart of ChOrnobyl. At the same time, the developers turned to the Russian fan base – because of the war in Ukraine, they decided to completely abandon the sale of future games in Russia.

Developers S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 removes the game from all digital platforms in the Russian region – and after the release, it will not appear there either. In Russia, a digital copy of the game will be given only to those who have already ordered it in advance. At the same time, the physical editions of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 will not be sold in Russia, and already placed orders are canceled.

We do not regret losing the part of the community that supports the war with Ukraine. We know that there are people who are aware of what is happening and support Ukraine in this war. But you will also face the inability to buy the game. Separation is impossible ” – GSC Game World

At the same time, GSC Game World reported that this publication on the Russian social network VK, which, we recall, has been blocked in Ukraine since 2017, is the last.

In early March, GSC Game World released a video in support of Ukrainians and confirmed that the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 was completely suspended. In addition, GSC Game World has withdrawn all its games from sale in Russia.
