Turkey will be able to buy grain from Ukraine and the Russian Federation at lower prices, media reports

Turkey will be able to buy Ukrainian and Russian grain at prices lower than world prices. This was decided on the basis of agreements on unblocking the export of grain from Ukraine.

This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the statement of the chairman of the Turkish Parliament’s Agriculture Commission, Yunus Kylych, quoted by the Sabah newspaper.

According to him, during the signing of the grain agreement in Istanbul, both the Ukrainian and Russian sides promised that Turkey would receive advantages in terms of grain prices and its purchase.

Thanks to this, we will also be able to buy grain for its further export… Of course, Ukraine and the Russian Federation will themselves determine the countries of supply, their volumes and prices for grain. According to the signed document, Turkey has assumed the role of the secretariat in their trade with other countries will perform functions comparable to foreign missions,” – the official said.

It is worth noting that even during the initiatives to conduct diplomatic negotiations regarding unblocking the export of Ukrainian grain, Ankara already announced its intention to buy products from our country discounted of more than 25%.
