The Ukrainian office of Bolt, with the support of Visa, sent 4 million hryvnias to help Ukrainians

Since the start of the full-scale Russian-Ukrainian war, the Bolt and Visa regional teams have joined forces to help the civilian population. They are currently continuing to work on assistance and implementing new initiatives.

  • Since the beginning of March, Bolt and Bolt Food, with the support of Visa in Ukraine, have already allocated over one million hryvnias for the purchase and provision of humanitarian aid. The affected Ukrainians were helped with warm fleece clothes, necessities, food, and medicine. For Visa, this has become another local area of humanitarian assistance.
  • From April 1, 2022, 5% of the order amount for each transaction in the Bolt and Bolt Food applications when paying with Visa cards in Ukraine will be transferred to the humanitarian needs of Ukrainians and volunteers.
  • In addition, Bolt Food, with the support of Visa, has allocated over UAH 300,000 in Ukraine and will donate it to help Ukrainians in need.
  • Promotional codes totaling more than UAH 3 million will also be valid for all Ukrainians currently abroad. They can be used to order a car in the Bolt application, if you do it with the help of the Visa concierge service. Promo codes will be valid in all European countries where the Bolt service is presented.

It is also worth mentioning that earlier Bolt stopped working in Russia and Belarus and initiated a volunteer direction so that drivers could move Ukrainians free of charge in case of emergency. Bolt is also currently preparing to resume the operation of the electric scooter rental service in Kyiv.
