The Russians are mastering the skills of operating Iranian drones – the US State Department

Information about Iran’s supply of drones to the Kremlin for use in the war against our country has been officially confirmed. According to the US State Department, a group of Russian operators has been in Iran for several weeks. Russians are learning to operate new equipment. This became known from Vedant Patel, who works in the US State Department as Deputy Speaker.

Patel recalled that Tehran’s plans to transfer Moscow’s combat drones to American intelligence became known in July. The latest intelligence suggests that Iranian instructors have been teaching the Russians how to operate the drones for several weeks. During his visit to Tehran, the Russian president managed to convince the Iranian authorities to install drones.

Patel noted that the State Department intends to introduce sanctions for the unauthorized arms trade. Moreover, both in relation to Iran and in relation to the Russian Federation. The White House will continue its efforts to dismantle the supply chains through which Iran obtains technology and materials for the production of military UAVs.

Last week, Oleksiy Arestovych said that the occupying forces have already started using Iranian-made drones on the territory of Ukraine. The presidential adviser refused to name the source of this information.
