The Armed Forces destroyed the Pantsir-C1 complex, radar and vehicles on Zmiiny – the first satellite image of the island has been published

On June 20, information about the attack of the Armed Forces on Zmiiny began to appear. On June 21, the strike on the island was confirmed by the operational command ‘South’. It also became known that the Defense Forces managed to destroy in the temporarily occupied territory.

In particular, as a result of the strike, the Armed Forces of Ukraine liquidated the self-propelled anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex ‘Pantsir-C1’ of the Russian Federation. One such device costs more than $10 million. It is equipped with two paired anti-aircraft guns 2A38M caliber 30 mm. ‘Pantsir-C1’ uses 57E6E missiles. It can hit targets at altitudes up to 15 km. The maximum firing range is up to 20 km.

By the way, in the spring, Ukrainian soldiers repulsed at least one anti-aircraft missile and artillery complex ‘Pantsir-C1’ from the Russians. You can see it in the photo above.

Ukrainian troops also managed to destroy a radar station and vehicles of the Russian Armed Forces at Zmiiny. Accurate data is still being collected by intelligence.

The strike on the island is confirmed by a satellite image taken by Planet Labs. The image shows at least three areas that were attacked.
