Russia has blocked Jooble’s job search site, which has been closed since the start of the war

Roskomnadzor has included in the Register of blocked sites in Russia the Jooble resource – a job search service. The site also does not work in Belarus.

Jooble blocking is a very interesting story. The fact is that Roskomnadzor claims that Jooble was blocked at the request of the Prosecutor General’s Office for calls for riots, extremism, and participation in illegal mass rallies.

But there is one thing – the Jooble administration closed access to the service for Russians and Belarusians from February 24, 2022. Therefore, the statements of Roskomnadzor have no logic and meaning because the resource in the country of the occupier did not work anyway.

After all, this is not the first time that Russia has tried unsuccessfully to play the game “it’s not you who left us, but we blocked you.”

Companies continue to leave Russia
Since the beginning of Russia’s brutal war against Ukraine, more and more global companies are leaving the Russian market and refusing to cooperate with customers.

So, recently, the market of Russia and Belarus was left by the gaming company Wargaming – the authors of the popular game World of Tanks. The entire gaming business has been transferred to the local management of Lesta Studio, which is no longer affiliated with Wargaming.
