Revolut has launched a fee-free payment service for Ukrainian refugees in the EU

The international financial application Revolut has simplified the requirements for Ukrainians to open an account and waived the fees for exchange and replenishment.

To transfer and receive funds, it is enough to link the appendix to the Ukrainian bank account.

The standard bill will not charge a monthly fee. The free tariff allows you to receive and send money. The limit for transferring from a Revolut account to another account is € 1,500 per day. The service card can be used throughout the European Economic Area (EEA) and Ukraine.

As the war in Ukraine has forced more than two million people to leave, we believe it is necessary to help those who have suffered the most by giving them easy and quick access to their funds. Bank transfers are often slow and expensive, so we hope that this Revolut initiative will provide a simple and effective alternative. I am extremely proud to be part of the British fintech business, which can quickly help the Ukrainian people in difficult times.” – Vlad Yatsenko, co-founder and CTO of Revolut.

To open an account, simply download the Revolut app from the App Store or Google Play Store. When registering, enter the phone number to which you can receive a confirmation SMS. Select the country you are in, enter your current address outside of Ukraine and other personal data. Be sure to upload a photo of your Ukrainian passport or ID card to verify your identity. If you only have a Ukrainian visa or residence permit, you can download them.

While Revolut is available in English and other European languages, Ukrainian will be added soon.
