Restoration of destroyed bridges has started in Kyiv region

The fighting near Kyiv lasted for about a month. During this time, the Russian occupiers destroyed many infrastructure facilities, including bridges. After the liberation of the region from invaders, Ukravtodor immediately began to restore communication between the cities.

According to the Minister of Infrastructure Oleksandr Kubrakov, each bridge takes approximately 2-3 months. Therefore, it was decided to create temporary crossings. The first will appear on the site of the destroyed bridge across the Irpіn on the R-30 highway. Work has already begun here, and they intend to hand over the object in ten days.

Specialists of the Kyiv Region Road Service also began work on restoring the bridge on the M-06 highway near the village of Stoyanka. Part of this overpass is planned to be opened in two months, and full-fledged traffic on both passages – in three or four. Work on repairing the destroyed road at the entrances to the bridge will begin in the coming days.

At the same time, Ukrzaliznytsia is working to restore the railway connection from Sviatoshyn to Klavdiyiv. Stations and roads being repaired.
