Rehabilitation of road infrastructure has started in Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts

The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated part of the country’s regions from Russian invaders. Among them are Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv regions. However, during the occupation and fighting in these areas, the housing stock and road infrastructure severely damaged. Therefore, the relevant agencies promptly began to get rid of the traces of orcs, as their inhabitants have already begun to return to the cities.

According to the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, reconstruction work has already begun on the M-01 Kyiv-Chernihiv highway. After all, this is an important logistics route. Roadside masses also cleaned of the remains of machinery, burnt cars and other things. In the Kyiv region, 29 km of the M-06 Kyiv-Chop highway cleared. Work on cleaning Irpen is also underway. At present, about 16 km of streets passes.

In addition, temporary crossings were being built on the sites of the destroyed bridges, which will connect the cities with the capital. At this time, embankments were being built near the crossings in Stoyanka and Irpіn. The entrance to the temporary bridge on the highway H-12 Sumy – Poltava has also strengthened.

Today we must gather all our strength and try to return to normal life as much as possible. These are just the first steps, followed by a larger recovery. We will do everything to make the economy work, so that the country lives and has the opportunity to help the defense forces. This is our main mission. Glory to Ukraine!.
