Presented by the first Razer laptop with installed Linux
Razer, known as a manufacturer of gaming computers, peripherals and accessories, has been producing Blade gaming laptops for ten years, all of which come with a pre-installed Windows operating system.
Now the situation has changed a bit – Lambda with the full blessing of Razer has released a version of last year’s Razer Blade 15 Advanced with Ubuntu installed.
The laptop is called Razer x Lambda Tensorbook and is not intended for gamers, but for developers of machine learning and artificial intelligence. The cost is $3,500, the hardware characteristics correspond to the older configuration of last year’s Razer Blade 15.
Features include a 15.6-inch display with a refresh rate of 165 Hz, 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia RTX 3080 Max-Q graphics, 64 GB of RAM, 80W rechargeable battery
Unlike the black Razer Blade 15, the new Razer x Lambda Tensorbook is enclosed in a gray body. Machine learning tools, including PyTorch, Tensorflow, CUDA, and cuDNN, are also not installed.
