Paramount film studio stops working in Russia

The American film studio Paramount, following Sony, Warner Bros, Disney, and other companies, is leaving Russia.

This was announced by Paramount CEO Bob Bakish in a letter to employees. The company is also stopping the distribution of all its films in the country, including “The Lost City” and “Sonic The Hedgehog 2”. In addition, Paramount donated.1 million for humanitarian aid to Ukraine.

I am closely following the devastating, unprovoked invasion of Ukraine. The resulting humanitarian crisis and its consequences for the lives of millions of people across Ukraine, Eastern Europe, and Russia itself is appalling,” – Bakish said.
