One Chinese car dealer sneezes and spies from Russia

Chinese carmaker Lifan has stopped selling new cars in the Russian market, not selling a single car in 2022.

According to sales of new passenger cars and light trucks of the European Business Association (AEB), in January-March 2022, sales of Lifan cars were zero copies.

The hotline phone listed on the brand’s official website does not answer, and dealers, according to Autonews.ru, have confirmed the absence of Lifan cars in stock and in the nearest deliveries.

According to Avtostat, there are more than 154,000 Lifan cars in Russia. The brand is the second most popular automaker from China, second only to the Chery brand, which sold more than 221 thousand units in Russia.
