In Germany, it was hinted that the country would soon run out of weapons for the Armed Forces of Ukraine
While the Armed Forces are waiting for Gepard anti-aircraft tanks, Germany is saying that they are running out of reserves to strengthen the Armed Forces.
German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht emphasized that her country wants to continue supporting Ukraine, but hinted that there are almost no reserves for such support in Germany. This is stated in the Welt publication.
‘Ukraine can count on the fact that Germany will continue to support it in the future,’ the German Minister of Defense said during her visit to the French-German brigade in Mühlheim today, July 19.

She emphasized her trusting and constructive relations with the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov and emphasized the transfer of PzH 2000 howitzers to Ukraine.
At the same time, Lambrecht hinted that weapons for the Armed Forces in Germany may soon run out completely: ‘We have few opportunities left to transfer weapons from the Bundeswehr, I clearly state this and my colleague also knows this.’
Earlier it became known that the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine have started training on Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns, while it is currently unknown whether Germany will hand over these machines by the end of July.
