Huawei closes stores in Russia due to shortage of products

Amid a shortage of products, Huawei has decided to close several official stores in Russia.

A source close to the Russian office reports this. The first store in Moscow was closed on February 28. Since then, the units in Ufa, Rostov-on-Don and Novokuznetsk have stopped working.

Now Huawei has 15 out of 19 stores in Russia. The main reasons for closing the points were the lack of products and falling demand for smartphones. In May of this year, compared to May 2021, 26% fewer smartphones were sold in Russia.

It is reported that Huawei will continue to close stores, but there is no talk of leaving Russia yet. Huawei has not officially commented on the issue of possible exit from the Russian market or information on store closures.
