Google will add emoji to Meet and allow video chat in Docs

Google has released an update for Workspace, where video chat can be launched directly in Docs. The video call will be transferred to Tables or Slides without switching between tabs. Google says the update will be released in the coming weeks.

Among the innovations is the addition of picture-in-picture support for Meet. This feature will only be available in Chrome, and will display up to four tiles in a single window at a time.

April updates include the addition of Meet emoticons, and video chat will receive automatic noise reduction. This year, you will be able to use your video tiles from the interactive mode of the companion and the laptop camera.
