Germany will put the Armed Forces modern reconnaissance drones of Vector

The Munich company Quantum-Systems will supply the Armed Forces with Vector reconnaissance drones. They were elected by representatives of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry. The website of the manufacturing company reports that the supply of drones will be financed by German funds under the patronage of the Ministry of Defense of Germany.

The message emphasizes that Quantum-Systems has already managed to deliver the first batch of aircraft. They are used by the Armed Forces to collect intelligence. Most of the orders placed by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine are at the stage of preparation for shipment. Quantum-Systems undertook the training of Vector UAV operators.

It takes four days to train operators to operate the drone. The volume of the batch and the terms of delivery of the UAV are not disclosed for security reasons. The details of the agreement will be disclosed by the manufacturing company after the delivery of the drones to the customer.

The Vector reconnaissance drone has a fixed wing. The device takes off and lands vertically. In flight, the UAV makes a low noise. It can be in the sky for up to two hours. The transmission range via an encrypted channel is 15 km. It can be increased to 25 km with the help of specialized antennas. The maximum speed of Vector is 90 km/h. A case is used for transporting the drone, which can easily be placed in a backpack.
