Elon Musk hopes to launch unmanned Starship to Mars “in 3-5 years”
Elon Musk gave a long interview at the Future of the Car conference for the Financial Times, where he talked about Tesla’s plans. In particular, we talked about another company of billionaires – SpaceX.
Musk believes that SpaceX could send the Starship unmanned spacecraft to Mars “in 3-5 years.” But before that, the company must hold the first orbital launch of Starship and pre-plan it for this summer.

At the same time, the billionaire spoke about the children, saying that his older children want to “do their job” and not work at Tesla/SpaceX, etc., but added that his younger son “was interested in working on rockets.”

On February 11, SpaceX held a one-and-a-half-hour presentation at its Starbase spaceport in Texas, entirely dedicated to Super Heavy and Starship, where it also talked about plans to conquer Mars.
