ChatGPT got a job as a Google programmer with a salary of $15,000.

As part of an experiment, Google sent ChatGPT interview questions about coding and concluded that the AI would be able to land a 3rd-level programmer position with a salary of $183,000 per year ($15,250,000 per month). This was reported by PC Mag.

The experiment was conducted as part of Google’s recent testing of several artificial intelligence chatbots it is considering adding to the site. ChatGPT’s ability to provide short and precise answers to questions can save users the time they would normally spend browsing links on Google in search of the same information.

A Google programmer interview is based mainly on technical questions. Facebook, Amazon and other companies also rely on these questions, especially for executive positions.

‘Unbelievably, ChatGPT has been interviewed for a third-level developer position,’ says a Google document.

Level 3 is considered an entry-level position at Google with an average salary of $183,000 per year.

The very fact that ChatGPT can answer programming interview questions raised questions about the platform’s ability to transform not only Google, but the programming profession itself. Is it already happening, or will it happen in five or 20 years?

“No, ChatGPT will not replace software engineers. It is a tool that can help solve certain tasks, but it cannot completely replace creativity, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. In addition, the effective operation of ChatGPT requires human control and management,’ ChatGPT himself answered the question.
However, ChatGPT acknowledged that the development of AI could affect lower-level positions. But he emphasized that it will never be a complete replacement, but rather a tool to help software developers.

Many developers are already using ChatGPT to reduce the time spent searching for coding solutions. Others use it to create small pieces of code.

However, it is not yet clear whether this tool will optimize the work of lower-level programmers.

In addition, there is another part of the work that AI cannot yet perform: meetings with business partners, managers, negotiations, brainstorming, etc. And it doesn’t look like ChatGPT is ready for that.

“There are many ethical and social implications to consider in the widespread use of AI in the workplace,” ChatGPT responded.
Note that ChatGPT recently became the fastest growing application in history.

It was previously reported that Microsoft Corporation has started work on a ‘Google killer’ – a new version of its Bing search engine using artificial intelligence, which is the basis of Open AI’s ChatGPT.

The company OpenAI, one of the founders of which is Elon Musk, presented a new version 3.5 of the ChatGPT natural language processing algorithm at the end of November.
