Booking.com, one of the world’s largest online hotel booking systems, has offered special rates for Ukrainians who have been forced to travel abroad to escape the war in Ukraine.

This is stated in the e-mail Booking.com.

“We want to do everything possible to help those who are forced to leave Ukraine in connection with the armed conflict. Together with our accommodation partners, we have prepared accommodation options that can be booked free of charge or at a substantial discount, in Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Poland, Italy, Germany, Austria, Moldova, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic,” – Booking.com said in a statement.

At the same time, it specified that a discount of 50% is provided only for bookings in accommodation facilities participating in the campaign. Such objects marked with the “Tariff for Ukrainian refugees” icon in the search results and on the number selection page. Reservations must be made no earlier than 3 days before arrival and have a check-in date starting from 17 March 2022. The discount applies only to the room rate (excluding additional fees and taxes) and does not add up to any other discounts. The number of rooms at the rate is limited. Free and discounted accommodation is intended only for persons who have forced to leave Ukraine. ID can be requested at check-in.
