Belarusian exercises are being held near the Ukrainian border

Military exercises near the Polish-Ukrainian border begin in Belarus on Thursday.

This was announced by the chairman of the Brest executive committee, Oleksandr Rohachuk.

He called the planned maneuvers “another step in testing the response force.”

As part of the tasks, the actions of airborne units will be tested in urban conditions to overcome the water barrier,” – Rogachuk said.

The landing units will also go to the Brest landfill to solve further tasks.

The Brest landfill is located almost 40 km from the Ukrainian border and about 30 km from the Polish border.

It should be noted that NATO Defender Europe-2022 and Swift Response-2022 military exercises have been held in Poland and eight other European countries since the beginning of May.
